Observed about a dozen male Robin's late morning in a crabapple tree in neighbor's yard and surrounding trees.
Also received a text message that morning from a friend about two blocks away telling me she had just seen a "flock of robins–the first of the year."
It has been exceptionally mild weather throughout January (low 40's and light rain this morning).
My friend asked if I thought it was the warm and mild weather that caused the robins to return so early.
