Three caterpillars had been put into a butterfly cage and formed chrysalises. First one fully eclosed this date, but daytime temperatures in the 50-55 deg range. Never able to fly, and died on 1/14.
Second butterfly started to eclose on 1/15/23 but died only partially out of chrysalis. Nighttime temperature in 40's, daytime temperatures still only in low 50's.
Third butterfly eclosed 1/17/23. Again, temperature were low and it wasn't able to fully extend all wings. It fed on Jatropha that was presented to it, but died following day.
