Columbus trying to look like a Red Tailed Hawk! Occasionally, he sits on the feeder on cloudy days for 15-20 minutes, watching the bare landscape outdoors. When sunny, he is busy hunting! Spring has arrived in the greenhouse. Cannas are forming buds, Camellia sasanqua is about to bloom. Cuphea and Fuchisa are busy producing shoots and buds. There are always Salvias, Aloes and Plectranthus. There are 400 varieties of pollinator friendly (mother/source)plants in the greenhouse that will expand to 5000 plants by May via cuttings/seed propagation. Columbus inspects every tray after the gardener places cuttings in them.
