I had just finished hanging a feeder at dawn this morning, for any hummingbird passing through. Distinctly heard the whirl of a hummingbird's wings over my head; looked-up but nothing. Rufous headed to Alaska?? Anyhow, I have hung another feeder up; two now. I will have four feeders hung as the Black Chins come in to nest, usually in March. The Ruby Throats will be passing through pretty soon.
