Robin (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 02/19/2023

Number: 2

I recently noticed your interest in robins. They are here year round in my yard or nearby for the past year or more. They are usually feeding in our grass, or drinking in street puddles. They fly into our shrubs if disturbed. I don't see them everyday. We have large cedar trees, and other deciduous trees, now bare. Weather has been very warm when I spotted them yesterday. Several years ago, during COVID there was a wave of them during a rare snowfall. They were thick in our trees for hours, and days. Neighbors were surprised. That started them staying here I think.
I have another photo of the other bird but it would not post. Additionally, I keep water bowls for birds in the the yard and have feeders. The robins were drinking once with one leucistic.
