This is the first time in eight years that I have had monarch cats this late (December) in the year. During 2022 I released approx. 60 monarchs. I had 12 that went into the chrysalis stage in early February. I was able to release 10 of the 12. The last two in mid-February when the temps went to the 60's.
I was supposed to cut my tropical milkweed back in November but I had only gotten to about half of them. This was in Laguna Niguel, So Cal.
