Male Rufous still here and sighted in misty dense fog advisory 6:55 a m. trying to necter on Rokin deep purple salvia. Took off fast. Didn't then go out into his twig high up in maple tree routine. He did chase something larger than him yesterday when I looked up while potting a new no name hybrid salvia.

Looks like his usual behavior routine has changed because not only fog mornings but in 80's for quite some time, 2 weeks.
Just sighted him around 11:30 a.m going to south side high view feeder then flew up into somewhere in that area to perch. This neighborhood has a lot of 70+ older oak trees hummingbirds like.

Rufous appears to be on look out mode.
