Raphy, our young male Rufous/Allen's hummingbird, is still with us here prepping for his upcoming migration. He enjoys sitting on his perches and observes all the tremendous songbird activity all around him. The nest box of one of our resident pairs of Eastern Bluebirds is relatively near Raphy's favorite feeder. Raphy perches in a Japanese maple and seems to really enjoy watching all their pre nesting activity. He also seems to be fascinated with watching all the birds take their baths at the fountain bird bath. We caught him in there once, at the very top! He was having a grand time. :)
