Male Rufous barely visible in Rokin deep purple salvia.
He was out back at 6:35 a.m before me, a whole lot earlier as daylight hours are longer. I remember past Rufous especially last one overwintering in 2021 was always looking east/west on exact twig area this one sits in. Alsoblooking rather fast right/left constantly for another hummingbird there for 30 minutes. Then takes off into neighbors adjoining giant magnolia tree to watch out. He is only going to Rokin deep purple salvia and mostly all 3 feeders during day that I see levels getting lower daily.
Our past Rufous watch the equinox of sun to leave. This year: March 20th, 4:30 p.m
