Robin (First SEEN)
Sightings report image

Date: 02/22/2023

Number: 1

While I know that there are a few robins that overwinter in my area, they usually never leave the dense wooded areas during winter. This was the first robin I've seen this year since early November 2022. I spotted this robin at just about 10:30AM hopping around underneath one of my hanging tray feeders. The temperature at the time was 31 degrees, partly cloudy with 2-3mph breeze. It had rained lightly earlier in the morning and the temperature was dropping as a front was moving through.
