The day started out with rain at 10am turning to heavy snow about 11AM Winds were 15-25mph gusting to 40-45mph it snowed off and on during the day as the temperature dropped to around 29 degrees toward 5:00PM when I spotted three robins hopping around under one of my two hanging flat feeders near a line of evergreens which helped block the cold NW winds that at the time was gusting to 30-40mph they flew off in the direction of a 20acre woods that has evergreen cover further in the woods. Overnight temperatures will hover around the 33-degree mark under cloudy skies as the snowstorm has blown through.
