Columbus is still resting, pecking and preening. Has only 8 sets Primary Flight feathers instead of 10. The center most tail feather R1 has descended and now is longer than the flight feathers as it should be. Pin feathers on the head have opened. Will post a photo soon. May be a month before molting completes. Anyway, it is still snowing, not a flower/insect in sight outdoors.
