This handsome Anna’s Hummingbird adult male perches on a post just seconds after it sparred with another Anna’s adult male that stopped to eat at a nearby feeder. The two engaged in an aerial battle just an inch or two above the blades of grass before the champion (picture above) chased the intruder off its domain.
