First monarch this year. Looked pretty fresh. Couldn't see gender. Flew into backyard and cruised low over plants looking and checking. Stopped and rested near the ground on some blue mistflower sprouts, then flew away. About 3pm,about 62F, mostly sunny, 5mph E/SE wind.
