This is a follow-up photo to my Monarch Adult Sighted report for 3/14/2023. I had been following a female monarch as she looked for milkweed. She was pausing on one, when a male monarch swooped in. She led him on a short chase, but they went down together in some tall grass. A few moments later they flew as a pair to a nearby tall tree. This is a photo of the mating pair.
