I observed a Rufous Hummingbird visiting feeders and flowers in both our front and backyard. It was a male who visited over 3 days. It was a wonderful treat, as I have never observed a Rufous Hummingbird before! Today we had a storm with rain, wind, thunder and lightning. No sign of the male Rufous. We have Anna's Hummingbirds all year in our town due to our mild climate.
