Today was mostly sunny, with temps in the 70's, and very strong gusty winds from the south. There were multiple monarchs flying around all day, both males and females. I observed five females egg-laying, resting/sunning, and nectaring. This is a photo of one of the female monarchs taking a sip from a yellow thistle.
