Male in my yard, definitely the "owner" this year, was courting a very interested female. Lots of following and chasing on the ground, followed by some exciting pop-up interactions. Another male tried to insert himself at the most "sensitive" time, and was roundly driven out of the yard by our hero, who, without missing a beat, circled round to continue his amour with his mate. Ahh... Spring!
