Looked like female rubythroat, no tail pumping like a blackchin does, at 7:45 a.m while out on patio feeding Koi.
3 feet right in front of me. Went to Fashion™ Orange Sage
Salvia buchananii x splendens.
And of course favorite attraction of Lamiaceae varietie of Rokin deep purple. Then just dispeared on her way.
Here they come again.
