Female laying eggs on my milkweed plants. Laid eggs on every plant 8 common, 8 showy and 1 purple milkweed. Watched her as I sat on a bench in front of the plants only four feet away.
It's amazing to think that that monarch had traveled approx 1000 miles and was laying eggs in my garden. Butterfly looked to be in good condition as it floated around.
