Early morning, right before dawn. Had just landed a small rabbit, was on the ground. It was beautiful, but I believe a juvenile given its size. We have a protected breeding pair about 25 miles north of us. I will keep watch and if I notice a mate, will rereport. And also notify Texas Wildlife & Fish department.
VERY EXCITING!! Haven't seen one in well over 35 years! A little worried as it was seen directly across from an area that is being cleared of all trees for a development. Can something be done? Should I report sighting ayway?
