The milkweed appears to be the tropical milkweed. It is 3” high in my flowerbed. Your sighting does not mention which type of milkweed you are tracking.

A friend of mine is working on cultivating some native milkweed. Once we plant them I am unsure whether we should report that here or not. My understanding is native milkweed is far more desirable and beneficial to the ecosystem
