Male ruby-throat just arrived and visited the feeder that I put up on my second story deck yesterday. This is the earliest date that I've ever had a hummer return! He finished feeding and flew over to perch on a branch on a hickory tree next to the deck, just like the male I had holding the deck feeder last year. Looks like he's familiar with my place---welcome home!
