I planted a new swamp milkweed plant in a new pollinator garden I added to my yard. The plant is about a foot and a half tall. The swamp milkweed plant I planted two years ago now has about a half dozen shoots that are about two inches tall and growing rapidly. Two days ago I transplanted 3 very small common milkweed plants I started from seed in February to a wild area just beyond my backyard fence. We'll see how they do. I am gradually adding nectar plants to my pollinator garden.
