Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 04/08/2023

Number: 1

After a few cool rainy days I walked a field near our house. I finally was able to find several late instar monarch larvae. I also spotted this single monarch nectaring in the field. It was about 60 degrees with a light north wind and it opened its wings every time it landed to try to warm itself on a cool day.
