Colony returns to a culvert under Union Chapel Road where it aligns with Highway 71 each spring. The culvert usually has standing water from a drainage area that continues for some length to the south of it, so there is plenty of mud. The culvert is about 4 feet tall and adjoins the fire station parking lot.
