We've had limited time thus far to look for and observe our hummingbirds. We have either 2 or 3 of our resident adult males back. Today, I did observe one of our adult males drinking from the Major Wheeler's honeysuckle, as well as from 2 feeders. Lots of azaleas blooming. Rhododendron will be blooming as well soon. Perennials are coming up; some early ones are blooming, such as phlox. We'll be planting lots of annuals in containers and ground beginning next week. We still have temps forecast in low 40s/high 30s for some nights this next week.
