I am cooking chicken and went out to my backporch. I have a blue feeder with red flowers at the very back of my yard. He is in the shade and looksl like his whole head is black. Since we normally get Ruby throated humming birds i am assuming he is one. He was perched on the back side of the feeder eating . He kept peeking around the feeder to look at me. I was talking to him welcoming him back! Let the season begin!!!! I sm so HAPPY! Mine normally come about Earth day! That feeder was low when i cleaned them BUT THIS IS MY FIRST "sighting" of Spring!!! Then my jack russell female ran back to see who i was talking to, and he flew off!
