VERY surprised to see a monarch in April! It was in the middle of the sidewalk, wings open and then closed them up. I hoped I hadn't stepped on it.

Since it's 48° out, windy and about to rain, I was worried for it since it didn't fly away. Googled and found 1 part honey to 9 parts water. Put that out in a little cap. By then it had climbed off the sidewalk and into some adjacent plants and was just hanging there. I hope it's okay!
