I saw one of our males feeding from Major Wheeler's honeysuckle just before dusk. Instead of going to a nearby feeder, which is what he normally does, he left and headed to the backyard. I'm assuming he went to one of the feeders back there. We've had a very large flock of goldfinches here the last 10-14 days and I don't think the hummingbirds care to feed near them in the front yard. I don't think our females have arrived yet.
