At first, I thought I was imagining things! I first spotted 5 robins then started counting them & realized there were 10 robins all perched together in our small crab apple tree in the backyard. I've never seen a robin wave as big as this. I could hear another robin very nearby singing his True Song. This morning, I saw a male & female robin perched together & I was convinced they had already mated, but I now realize they were just arriving en masse travelling together. How exciting to see them all together like this! (They seem to be travelling with some starlings who arrived at the same time.)
