It is Earth Day. When I took this photo this a.m. it was 44 degrees, wind chill 38. Freeze warning tonight! This is still the 1st hummingbird i have SEEN this season...he arrived on the 18th. My hummers ususlly arrive on Earth Day... there may be another, i just have not SEEN it. in this photo he is sitting on my front porch. But, occasionally he DOES SUDDENLY TAKE OFF LIKE HE IS AFTER SOMEONE.
