Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 04/22/2023

Number: 1

At 2 p.m. today a male orchard  Oriole was sighted up in desert willow  tree maybe getting  necter off a flower, also a feeder hung on trunk of tree there.
I was planting a new Concord grapevine bc neighbors  fence people flattend our old one this week. For some reason all past Orioles like the new leaf shoots on grapevines. Concord grapes are in  a  bunch hanging on new vine.
Oriole was looking at me when on top of  desert willow tree. 3 grape jelly, orange feeders have been out and missing jelly, with orange rinds left. Tefulling feeders.Try to get a photo when he comes back later. I do Cornell orchard Oriole sounds that attract them.

Orioles on their way!
Wish female rubythroats would come thru, 0 so far.
