Number: 1

Surprised! She this female land on the grass. How did she get to Suches. Cold winter. Spring just arriving . We are in the mountains at 3,000 feet. Must have been blown in on a storm from the gulf. No milkweed up for eggs. Very few nectar plants. So excited to see here. Monarchs seem to skirt the Appalachians to go south to the gulf in fall. A treat to see!
