We are gaining females. Saw a brief chase 2x undr pergola area of potted plants. around 8 a.m. and again 9 a.m. Both are going to all flowers. Mostly 'Black and blue salvia',  coral honeysuckle, desert willow tree flowers, all other purple guranticas. Seven male Orioles and 2 female hummingbirds are getting along going to same plants.

As in last report we did pull out the metal floweres off a glass hummingbird feeder. Found them rusted out under the base inside where connected. Made larger holes with a metal hole punch to add plastic red flower ports to fit in the aluminum base. One female tried to go to that feeder but was chased off by other one.

I just hope hummingbird host get rid of those metal feeder types and go with plastic ports. Rusty Metal is dangerous for hummingbirds.
