Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers

Date: 05/01/2023

Number: 1

1 female nectaring at 8 a.m. a little chilly in 60's. Nectaring from Black and blue salvia, inground purple gurantica, Rokin deep purple salvia.

Then again today 6 p.m.after it cord down from 80's. She was nectaring from same plants and coral honeysuckle. Moves too quick for photo both times today.

The same 8 Orioles are not bothering her, but are real characters, investigators. Two decided to go sit on south side small 6oz high view hummingbird feeder around 9 a.m. Both couldn't figure it. That was funny looking. But think female hummingbird is using that feeder with level lower. There is an Oriole sugar water feeder out for their size. They seem to prefer jelly slots on sugar water feeder.
