I first spotted “Blackie“ (the name I’ve given to the black hummingbird with the red chest that was around my house last year, along with the “Green Hornet“ - who hasn’t appeared yet), sometime in mid-late April & before I knew of this site. For a while, though, when we had cold and rainy weather, I didn’t see Blackie for a bit. But he has reappeared in the last day or so.
