My wife, Jean and I saw our first Baltimore oriole, a male, at 6:17 am ! It came 5 days later for us than last year. I heard it’s signature single whistle first, then it’s chattering. It was fighting with a house sparrow at our single feeder filled with grape jelly. I took a picture of it just after it left our feeder, sitting on our clothesline pole.
