Another Happy Star Wars Day! The 4th is with me again! My first hummingbird of 2021 was a male Ruby-throated at 8:19PM. He came to all 4 of the Vermillionaire Cigar Plants I had recently pruchased and put out for hummers as my overwintered cigar plants weren't ready to come outside yet. I had thought I saw something little fly into my west O'Neill Red Horse-chestnut from the south-east a couple of minutes prior, but then a Nuthatch flew from W->E into my south-west Black Walnut tree. I'm glad I continued to look outside from the east side of the sliding door! He came to the Vermillionaire Cigar Plants again at 8:26PM, then off SW to my west O'neill Red Horse-chestnut to look at its forming flower stalks which are around 4" tall.
