1st male hummer of the season (here) spotted at 3:30 P.M. He was a big boy right at 3" in length( I have a scale on the side of ALL my feeders). The other male appeared at 5:45P.M. He was about 2 & 3/4" long. I have seen both since (this report filed at 7:45P.M.) Temp today topped out at 84'F. VERY sunny-beautiful day! I have about 15 potted, colorful and varied Petunias and begonias! This is the latest (May 11) that the males have arrived at this location in the 9 years that I have lived here.VF
