Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 05/14/2023

Number: 2

Observed two Ruby-Throated hummers at the same time twice this evening. My supposition is that one or two more arrived today. I saw one or two drinking deeply from the feeder and noted that a heck a lot of nectar was used today. The last one left the feeder at 8:10 p.m. Technically, sunset was at 7:56.

Also observed a mating flight yesterday. I presume that meant I have at least a pair.

So, particularly because of a late arrival, there is great excitement in all the land!
