Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/16/2023

Number: 5

We saw an adult laying eggs on our largest narrowleaf so we’ve been waiting rather impatiently for the first caterpillars. Today we saw three first instars and a couple that might be second instars already. That’s all I was able to find so far. There is a hover fly hanging around at the moment so I’m a little worried.
