Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/17/2023

Number: 4

8:30 PM, 49 degrees and the temperatures are predicted to go lower, into the low 30s during the night and into daybreak.

Little girls are staying on branches near their feeders this evening, for easy nectar access and to conserve energy.

They’ll go to bed around 9:30 PM.

As darkness approaches, the feeders will move to the garage (so Miss Racoonie doesn’t raid and destroy the feeders). The advantage of this is WARM nectar will be delivered in the morning.
