Number: 1

This plant is Dicentra luxuriant, a long blooming bleeding heart. It comes up in early spring, provides early nectar for hummingbirds; and continues to bloom throughout the “hummingbird season”.

As seeds start to form, pull the seeds off. Scuff up another area of ground with your boot and throw a handful of seeds into the scuff mark.

In zone 5b, it’s really this easy to propagate more plants 👍🎈 Early sun. Do not try to grow this plant in hot, full, sun.

Give it an oak leaf or pine straw mulch to keep the plants roots cool.

Hummingbirds and bumblebees love Dicentra Luxuriant. 💕
