As I was in my garden inspecting my milkweed for a caterpillars I noticed A female monarch laying eggs on my common milkweed. She went from stem to stem plant to plant laying numerous quantity of eggs. She was very faded and her wings were tattered as I believe she was a late migrator from Mexico.
