I live in Humboldt in SE Kansas and there is milkweed everywhere! Driving along the roads from Iola towards Wichita the fields, prairie and along the roads is covered in Milkweed. I went out of town today with the idea of digging up some plants to add to my garden, but the ground was too hard! It all seems to be this kind - though maybe I was not recognizing any other type. I have not seen one Monarch! But there is no shortage of milkweed for them in this part of Kansas!
