We have a pollinator garden in our front yard with a ton of both tropical and Mexican milkweed, plus all other native plants. This has been the best year ever--at least 12 monarchs have hatched, about half female/male. Two chrysalids did not make it. And 2 monarchs were born with deformed wings. all the others seem healthy, and we have at least 2 different monarchs laying eggs daily! Saw about 10 more caterpillars today. 5/28
