Two monarch butterfly eggs saved from the weed whacker. They were on tiny milkweed sprouts intruding on the lawn outside of my garden. Silly mama. What a place to lay some.

Temperature was 87 degrees with no wind, storms on the way.


Milkweed was the Common syriaca.
Near Jasmine, zinnias, mandevilla, and marigolds. Older two foot high Common were in garden beds. Ten plants two and a half feet high.
