Native lupine (aka hummingbird bait) πŸŽˆπŸ‘

Lupines prefer sun, and very, dry, sandy, soil. My experience is lupines are also very particular about their sandy soil too πŸ™„

It took me several years, of trial and error(s), to find β€œThe Right Spot” for lupines.

When you find THE Right Spot, they self sow, and become prolific.

I reside in zone 5b. When lupines are in sand that they like, they don’t mind winter and will bloom in May for your hummingbirds. πŸŽˆπŸ’•
