It appears that the females are incubating. The weather has turned rainy and cold, so I feel for the poor things! The male is spending a lot of time in the vicinity of the feeder nearest my kitchen window. He's flying the females off. He's a bully compared to many males who have summered here before. There are two other feeders to keep the girls going.
I saw two at one time. There were three at once a couple of times, before nesting began.
